I Cthulhu
Soooooo the last post I wrote brought to mind one of my favorite little in-joke stories, I Cthulhu by Neil Gaiman. Like The Courtyard, you're probably not going to get into it if you're not familiar with the source material, but it's a funny little autobiography of Lovecraft's most famous creation. You can read the entire thing right here.
Enjoy!

Hey! One of those guys is staring at me from atop my TV right now! Thank "Bob" we've got Alton Brown on to counter his malign influence.
D'oh! I should have read the story first and saved myself the effort of posting twice. Thanks for the link! 'Twas awesome and sluggly.
I'm happy you like the story. It was a nice little treat for Gaiman to put it up. He's done a couple other Mythos-y tales, Shoggoth's Old Peculiar and A Study In Emerald, the former another humor piece and the latter definitely not. I plan on posting whichever ones are free, once a little more time has passed.
